Dan is a dog who is a friend of Leap. He wears glasses and a white shirt with aqua green sleeves (in 2003 and in the videos, he wears a yellow shirt and denim shorts). He has a younger sister named Dot.

Dan has outstanding physical drive and gets hungry quickly. Dan is also a big eater, and he has a talent for cooking. He can sometimes be a "class clown" because of his humor and his wacky imagination. However, one of his best qualities is his kind heart, doing whatever he can because of his tenacity and well-meaning gestures.
