Every Letter Makes a Sound is a song sung towards the end of the video The Letter Factory. It is sung by Tad, Lily (Leapster version), Professor Quigley and the letters A-Z.
Lyrics[]
Tad: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! (this line was cut from the Leapster version)
At this time we are proud to present... the alphabet, from A to Z!
Some letters are made of straight lines
And some are curvy and round.
But every letter makes a sound!
Letters: (variously) The A says ah,
And the B says b-b-b-buh.
The C says cuh,
And the D says duh.
The E says eh,
And the F says ff.
The G says guh,
And the H says hh-hh-hh-hh.
The I says ih,
And the J says juh.
The K says kuh,
And the L says l-l! l-l!
The M says mmm,
And the N says nn.
The O says o-o,
And the P says puh.
The Q says kwuh,
And the R says rr.
The S says ss,
And the T says tuh.
The U says uh,
And the V says vv.
The W says wuh, wuh, wuh, wuh.
And the X says ks.
The Y says yuh...
Letter Z (Lily in the Leapster version): ...and the Z says zzz...
Tad: ...And those are all the letters in the factory!
Professor Quigley: If you practice,
It's not hard to learn the alphabet!
Every letter makes a sound!
Every letter makes a sound!
Tad: What you hear... is what you get!
Oh, yeah!!!
