“Hey, kids! This is the VERY first LeapPad book in store since launch day!” (Leap)

“... and the debut title of our LeapPad library!” (Lily and Tad)

Leap into Learning was the default sampler book for LeapPads from January/September 1999 to September 2001. This interactive book does not require a cartridge.

It is also known as the “Extraordinary-World-Premiere-Showcase-Debut Book,” as said by Leap himself.

Trivia Edit

  • Outside of the LeapPad, "Leap into Learning" was also the slogan for Fisher-Price Read & Play Puddle Books.
  • The British version cuts off the United States of America page, shortening this to 30 pages (instead of 32 in the original USA version).
  • The voice actors are replaced with the British voice actors/actresses for those who have a British-English accent; these include David Bamber (Storyteller), Susan Sheridan (Leap) and Emma Tate (Lily and Tad) for the pages with Leap, Lily and Tad.
  • In the Italian version teaming with Clementoni, the title was translated to Imparare Giocondo (literally translated as "Learning Fun"), so for the voices, the actors and actresses are Italian (ie. Federica de Bartoli as the Italian voice of Lily).
  • It is the first and debut LeapPad book to use the fourth wall.
  • This is the first time to have Leap, Lily, Tad, or the narrator break the fourth wall to the LeapFrog users.
  • A different title has LeapPad Pro with the same version and more interactive books with cartridges.
